The DHS Volleyball Head Coach will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program (Varsity, JV, and Middle School). The goal is to foster a “win-from-within” atmosphere characterized by:
● Competitive Excellence: Preparing athletes to compete at the highest level in Georgia high school sports.
● Player Development: A relentless focus on fundamental skills, IQ, and personal growth.
● Positive Culture: Maintaining an environment where accountability, sportsmanship, and team chemistry thrive.
Key Responsibilities
● Program Leadership: Manage coaching staff across levels and align the curriculum from Middle School through Varsity.
● Player Mentorship: Guide student-athletes in balancing academic success with athletic performance.
● Off-Season Growth: Coordinate summer camps, weight training, and conditioning programs.
● Community Engagement: Communicate effectively with parents, boosters, and the CSD athletic department.
Qualifications
● Experience: Proven track record in coaching (High School or Club level preferred).
● Knowledge: Deep understanding of rotation strategies, skill mechanics, and GHSA regulations.
● Education: We are seeking candidates who hold a Georgia Teaching Certificate.
