Thomas Jefferson Academy, a small private school committed to academic excellence and competitive athletics, is seeking a Varsity Softball Coach for the upcoming 2026 season. We are looking for a motivated, knowledgeable, and positive leader who is passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the field.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of the varsity softball program.
Plan and conduct effective practices that build skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Provide game-day coaching and strategy for regular season and postseason play.
Foster a positive, encouraging, and disciplined team culture.
Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, and school administration.
Ensure compliance with school and league rules and guidelines.
Coordinate equipment, field preparation, and team logistics.
Support the broader mission and values of Thomas Jefferson Academy.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of softball fundamentals, strategy, and player development.
Previous softball coaching or playing experience
Ability to serve as a strong role model for young athletes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Must pass all required background checks.
Position Details:
Full Time Employee with coaching stipend
