Dalton Academy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Head Varsity Boys Soccer Coach. The selected candidate will lead a competitive soccer program that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and the academic success of student-athletes, while ensuring full compliance with Dalton Public School System policies and Georgia High School Association regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive soccer program aligned with district and athletic department goals.
- Instruct student-athletes in the fundamentals and strategies of soccer.
- Foster character development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and academic accountability.
- Ensure compliance with all district policies and Georgia High School Association rules and regulations.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate assistant coaches in coordination with the Athletic Director and school administration.
- Plan and coordinate practices, competitions, and tournaments while adhering to facility schedules and district procedures.
- Provide proper supervision of student-athletes during practices, games, and team travel.
- Monitor student-athlete eligibility, including academic progress and required documentation.
- Implement and oversee injury prevention protocols, emergency procedures, and injury reporting.
- Maintain accountability for all program equipment, including inventory, care, and storage.
- Manage the program within the approved budget and assist with equipment and supply needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, staff, and community stakeholders.
- Promote the soccer program within the school and community, maintaining positive public relations.
- Organize preseason meetings to communicate expectations with student-athletes and parents.
- Enforce discipline and ensure adherence to team and school policies.
- Ensure facilities and equipment are secured and maintained after use.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by school and district leadership.
