South Atlanta HS
South Atlanta High School is currently seeking a Head Girls Basketball Coach to join our team. We are looking for a qualified candidate who is passionate about coaching and dedicated to the success of our student-athletes.
Qualifications and expectations:
- Must be a certified teacher
- Ability to plan and execute practices effectively
- Excellent communication skills with school personnel, student athletes, and parents
- Coordination with the athletic director and others for facility usage
- Maintenance of equipment and inventory
- Ability to create and execute fundraising events
- Oversight of assistant coach and JV program
- Monitoring the safety of all participants and adherence to safety protocols
- Knowledge of and adherence to the rules and regulations of the Georgia High School Association and Atlanta Public Schools
- Proactive and accountable for the basketball program
