Bay High School
Bay High School is seeking an energetic, committed, and high-character leader to serve as the Head Coach of our Girls Basketball Program. We are dedicated to building a championship-level program that prioritizes player development, academic success, leadership, and competitive excellence.
Position Overview:
The Head Girls Basketball Coach will be responsible for leading all aspects of the girls’ basketball program, including player development, team culture, game strategy, offseason training, year round fundraising, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to inspire student-athletes, build a positive and disciplined program culture, and implement a clear plan for sustained success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the Girls Basketball Program at the varsity and sub-varsity levels
• Develop and implement a year-round training and player development plan
• Foster a positive team culture emphasizing accountability, respect, and excellence
• Support academic achievement and character development of student-athletes
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, staff, and administration
• Promote sportsmanship, leadership, and school pride
• Actively fundraise year-round for the basketball program
• Build community support and program visibility

• Three (3) Letters of Reference speaking to coaching experience
• A 12-Month Program Plan outlining vision, player development, offseason training, culture-building, fundraising plan and competitive goals
• Proof of valid FLDOE Coaching or Teaching Certification
• Valid CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification
Teaching Opportunities:
Teaching positions for the 2026–2027 school year are to be determined.
Applicants interested in a teaching role must include proof of FLDOE Teaching Certification or Statement of Eligibility.
