Strong Rock Christian School is a private christian, K-12, college-preparatory school located in Locust Grove, GA. Strong Rock Christian School is seeking a dedicated Head Boys Basketball Coach & Program Director who understands the commitment required for a successful athletics program. Currently, Faculty Teaching positions are available in science, history, physical education and work-based learning, with a preference for teaching certification, though individuals willing to obtain certification post-hire will be considered.
Candidates with the ability to coach multiple sports will be given special consideration. Alignment with the Christian values and standards of the school is essential. The ideal coach will be enthusiastic about nurturing young men both on and off the field, dedicated to inspiring athletes, parents, and coaches to reach their full potential in sports and life.

Responsibilities include:
- Leads all aspects of the Boys Basketball Program with purpose and excellence
- Develops the total student athlete through an intentional environment for athletic, emotional, mental, and Spiritual growth
- Provides Leadership for all levels of Boys Basketball: Varsity, JV, Academy (middle school) and Junior Pro (elementary)
- Creates a dynamic team culture of respect, accountability, team-unity, and sportsmanship
- Provides a positive role model and demonstrates personal integrity and spiritual character
- Instructs student athletes in skill development (technical) and game strategies (tactical)
- Selects and oversees rosters
- Organizes and executes effective practice plans
- Manages the Basketball budget
- Maintains inventory, issue/receipt of uniforms + other equipment
- Supervises, leads, and develops assistant and sub-varsity coaches
- Schedules and manages games
- Coordinates with other coaches and officials
- Organizes transportation and coordinates team travel
- Promotes the Boys Basketball program to the Strong Rock community and beyond
- Other related duties as assigned
