📝 Key Responsibilities:
- Build and lead a comprehensive 9-12 softball program (JV & Varsity).
- Develop players for college-level opportunities and scholarships.
- Create and implement modern offensive/defensive systems tailored to maximize team strengths.
- Cultivate a program culture of grit, growth, and greatness on and off the field.
- Mentor and manage assistant coaches to align with program philosophy and goals.
- Execute purposeful practice plans and competitive game strategies.
- Promote academic success and community leadership among student-athletes.
- Build strong partnerships with parents, school staff, and the community.
- Integrate analytics, strength & conditioning, and mental preparation into player development.
- Oversee a year-round program, including off-season workouts, strength training, and summer team opportunities.
âś…Â Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven success as a varsity head coach or high-level assistant (college playing/coaching experience is a plus)
- Track record of developing student-athletes and facilitating college recruitment
- Strong knowledge of modern softball strategy, technique, and training
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage coaching staff
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Familiarity with GHSA regulations and compliance
- Holds or willing to obtain GHSA coaching certifications
- Holds a valid Georgia Teaching Certificate | Subject Areas: Soc. Studies, Math, Foreign Language (Spanish, French), Spec. Ed | CTAE w/Agriculture
