Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has the ability to build connections will all components of the girls’ basketball program. This candidate is collaborative and has the time and ability to create a positive of growth for all members of Mount Pisgah Christian School’s girls basketball program. Strong consideration will be given to candidates with coaching experience as a program lead at the upper school and/or college assistant levels. The candidate must also have a willingness to integrate into the Mount Pisgah Christian School community as a whole.
Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to:
Coordinating programming, as well as collaborating with coaches at the varsity, JV, and middle school levels.
Overseeing the development of players.
Working closely with the Athletic Director and region coaches to secure game schedules.
Planning practices to focus on improving specific skills.
Collaborating with Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Communicating with players and parents about team expectations, schedules and training opportunities.
Motivating players to perform their best by setting goals and providing support during difficult times.
Preparing game plans and scouting opponents.
Collaborating with fellow coaches to coordinate scheduling of multi-sport student athletes.

Occasional night and weekend work in support of departmental school activities
