Providence Christian Academy seeks a passionate and dedicated Head Football Coach to lead our football program in a way that reflects our commitment to Christ-centered education and athletic excellence. This position is not just about building a successful team but about shaping young men into Christ-honoring leaders on and off the field.
Responsibilities:
• Spiritual Leadership: Model and cultivate a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ, mentoring players in their faith and character development.
• Program Development: Build a football program that aligns with the school’s mission, fostering a culture of accountability, discipline, and excellence.
• Coaching & Strategy: Develop and implement effective game plans, training regimens, and practice strategies that prepare student-athletes for competition.
• Covenant Community: Work collaboratively within a Christ-centered environment, maintaining strong relationships with students, parents, faculty, and administration.
• Academic & Character Accountability: Ensure student-athletes maintain high academic standards and uphold values that reflect a commitment to faith, integrity, and teamwork.
• Staff Development: Recruit and mentor assistant coaches who share the mission of the program and demonstrate Christ-like leadership.
Qualifications:
• A strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to discipleship.
• Coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level, with a deep understanding of the game and player development.
• A heart for mentoring young men spiritually, academically, and athletically.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to foster a positive, disciplined team culture.
• A commitment to the mission and values of Providence Christian Academy.
