MaysAthletics Benjamin E. Mays High School
Benjamin E. Mays High School is currently seeking qualified, passionate, and committed Head Coaches for the following sports: Baseball, Girls Lacrosse, Wrestling, and Gymnastics. We are looking for leaders who are dedicated to the holistic development of student-athletes and the continued growth of our athletic programs.
Qualifications & Expectations:
- Must be a certified teacher
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and lead effective practices and competitions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and school staff
- Coordination with the Athletic Director on scheduling and facility management
- Oversight of team equipment and inventory control
- Ability to plan and implement fundraising activities
- Supervision and development of assistant coaches (if applicable)
- Ensure athlete safety and adherence to all protocols
- In-depth knowledge of GHSA and Atlanta Public Schools rules and regulations
- Accountable, proactive, and committed to program success and student achievement
